Green Heron Ale House
A Music Venue with drinks - not a bar with music
Ale House – Cider House – Wine Bar
Unbeatable atmosphere, music and Stokes County's first Craft Ale House. Also featuring select wines and hard cider.
It's the perfect place to celebrate a great day at Hanging Rock State Park, a mountain bike ride at Moore's Springs Trails, a climb on Cook's wall, or to cap off a kayak or canoe paddle down the Dan River.
From some of the yellow fizzy mega brews to limited snooty creations from local and national craft brewers.

Blues ... Southern Style
THE KING BEES have been stingin' & swingin' the blues since 1987.. Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Lincoln Center New York City (several times), we've played 'em all as well as Mississippi juke joints.. Our great good fortune has allowed us to tour & record with the best & most culturally significant Blues artists including Carey Bell, Nappy Brown, Jerry McCain and many others...We've played with Bo Diddley and were part of B.B. King's 80th Birthday Tour.
"The King Bees' CAROLINA BOUND could serve as a soundtrack to a blues who's who Saturday-night house-rent party.. It showcases their talented friends along with the King Bees own signature sound... Gritty.. smoking.. This disc works on several levels featuring a multitude of distinct styles and quality performances.. This is a worthy addition to any stack of party records." Rock Covers - check. Kickin' Originals - check. Always a good time with be the moon!
Pulling from a wide variety of musical genres, be the moon writes Americana/Folk-Rock that brings to mind Tom Petty, Wilco, John Prine, and Ryan Adams.
be the moon was started in August of 2011 as the collaborative music effort of Vocalist/Percussionist Adam Shaw and Vocalist/Guitarist Elliott Humphries. Since then the group has since expanded into something more than either ever expected. The additions of bassist Freddie Alderman and drummer Steven Bristow have expanded the group's sound dramatically. Acoustic and folk rock with a twist of Americana. Original material and our own versions of covers from various genres.
